The Caring for Miracles Foundation, in seeking to fulfil its mandate to improve Neonatal expertise and care delivery to all newborns regardless of place of birth, is pleased to host its fifth annual Caring for Babies born too soon Symposium.
This symposium will feature a multidisciplinary panel of international and local speakers, as well as the perspective of parents of former premature infants. We will explore a number of aspects of Neonatal Infection in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), including the impact of infections in the antenatal period on the newborn, the resurgence of old infections globally and the utility of artificial intelligence in this fight.
The symposium is targeted at all Healthcare providers involved in perinatal and neonatal care, including Obstetricians, Neonatologists, Paediatricians, Paediatric Surgeons, obstetric and paediatric medicine, Surgical Residents and Interns, General Practitioners, Neonatal and Paediatric Nurses and Midwives, the Allied Health team, and Medical and Nursing students. We welcome parents and families of NICU graduates, as well as any interested community members. There will be an opportunity for all attendees to interface with the expert panel.
